Spring 2016 Application deadline is 3/7/2016

The 2015-16 Undergraduate Research Committee (Kathleen Killian, Chair) invites all Miami University enrolled full-time undergraduates on all campuses to apply. Miami's Undergraduate Research Program encourages students to initiate and carry out small-scale, independent research projects in any discipline.  Students can develop and implement either applied research or a creative study under the supervision of a faculty member.

Individual awards or group project awards usually range from $150 to $1,000 and are made available through the Miami University Senate Committee for Undergraduate Research.

Now is the time to talk over your ideas with a faculty member and get started with the application.

What Information does a student need to register (as an Individual)?

· Your personal information, including: UniqueID, email address, major(s), and expected graduation year

·Faculty/Mentor's information, including UniqueID, department, and email address

· Time preferences for presentation

·Presentation Format: Oral or Poster

·Title of presentation you are registering

What Information does a student need to register (with a Group)?

Poster presentations involving more than 1 person can only be submitted once. Please select someone from your group to be the Primary Undergraduate Researcher who will then be responsible for filling out the presentation information below.

· Primary Undergraduate Researcher Information including: UniqueID, email address, major(s), and expected graduation year

· Co-presenter(s) information, including: UniqueID, email address, major(s), and expected graduation year

· Faculty/Mentor's information, including UniqueID, department, and email address

·Time preferences for presentations
